Maintenance of fabric sofas
1. Vacuum at least once a week, and pay attention to removing dust in dead corners and between fabric structures.
2. If the cushion can be turned over for use, it should be turned over once a week to evenly distribute the wear. You can also take the cushion outdoors and beat it frequently to loosen the internal fibers and maintain the elasticity of the sofa.
3. If there are stains, wipe them with a clean rag dipped in water. In order not to leave marks, it is best to wipe from the outside of the stain. Velvet furniture should not be exposed to water, and dry cleaning agents should be used. 4. All cloth covers and bushings should be cleaned by dry cleaning, not by water washing, and bleaching is prohibited.
5. If you find that the thread ends are loose, do not tear them off by hand, but cut them neatly with scissors.
6. Fabric sofas are prone to dust accumulation, so they should be regularly dusted with tools such as vacuum cleaners, but the brush head should not be close to the fabric surface to avoid leaving dirt on the fabric surface or hooking up the thread ends of the fabric.
7. Fabric sofas are not as wear-resistant as leather sofas, so you should avoid sitting in the same position frequently. If pilling occurs, you can use small scissors, a razor or a pilling machine to remove it.
8. If it is stained, you can use clean water to scrub it locally; if it is a detachable sofa, you can disassemble it, turn it inside out, use a detergent or a sponge dipped in detergent to clean it locally, and then rinse it with clean water; but you should pay attention to whether the fabric is suitable for washing. If it is suitable for washing, it should be removed and cleaned regularly in about half a year.
9. For new cloth covers, you should first spray anti-fouling cleaning agent to prevent dirt and dust.
